I have a Subaru 2015 xv cross trek that was bought reconstructed. The car runs pretty well with the only problem being that when I turn on my car the rpm goes to 2000. It slowly falls to around 800 but I’m worried this looks like a problem later on. I drove it with no problem for around 5000 miles.

I have a 2008 manual transmission Subaru Outback with about 100,000 miles on it. Recently purchased it from a private buyer and it ran and drove fine. I have owned it for less than a week, but when I tried to start it today, nothing happened. No click with the ignition, no lights within the car, and no response with the gas. I attempted to jump the battery with a Ram 1500 but got zero response. It's been a while since I started a car, so initially I connected the black end of the jump wire to the batter (bad idea) and had the car alarm go off on the Subaru. Realized my mistake and subsequently grounded the black wire, with no result. Any ideas as to what went wrong?

I’m looking to purchase a used AWD crossover or suv. I want a runner, something that’ll last 200,000+ with proper upkeep of course. Something with good gas mileage, mid 20s and above. I don’t want to spend more than $10,000 but also want it to have less than 100,000 miles on it currently. I don’t have a preference for year. So far I’ve been leaning towards Rav4, Highlander, and CRV. Any suggestions are appreciated!
