Hi there I’ve noticed cracks in my rear tyres. The car is 4.5 years old and I reckon they’re the original tyres as they DOT is 35/15 (35th week of 2015?) and they’ve done approx 37k miles. I know cracking means the tyre has aged and the rubber isn’t as good as it used to be because of UV light etc. but I read that most small cracks are cosmetic and it’s not a reason to be concerned or MOT failure etc? (It’s not due an MOT til end of October). I’ve only done approx 7k miles in over 2 years. also does the speed rating on the tyre matter? I replaced the front tyres in October as the treads were getting low - these were not the original front tyres. I just bought ones with the same numbers as the last front set and I’ve just noticed that my front tyres are speed rating T and the rear ones are speed rating H. I believe T means they can go up to 118mph and H means they can go up to 130mph? Which obviously I’m never gonna do... if I replace my rear tyres should they have a T speed rating too? It’s a 3 door Mini Cooper. any help appreciated thanks

Hi guys, so I would love for you to have a look at my Indiegogo-project - a LED-sign for the rear window that keeps tailgators off and alerts other drivers if you are in need of help (medical, car-jacked, etc). https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/car-safety-sign#/ I really think this could improve safety on the roads, so please have a look, and even better, support the project! Thanks!

Hi Guys and Girls, I have a questionnaire here. I wish to design a new product that helps reduce the number of rear end collisions dramatically. Please take 2 minutes out of your day to fill it in and/or share it, I'd appreciate it Thank you. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/11Kr1odO94r17O9JlhulNIHObgiioSbyIqzpykqYUycA/viewform

A new automotive safety accessory: a steering wheel cover that would vibrate in unsafe driving conditions that detects high BAC, abnormal heart rates, and absence of hands on the wheel. We find this accessory to help create safe roads and to be an incentive to help reduce the cost of insurance. Where do you see benefits in this product? Where is this lacking value? What additional features to this product could interest you? Have you ever heard of a product comparable to this one?
