  1. With record-high gas costs, an efficient automobile is a tempting alternative for many car buyers. People who want to save money on petrol generally opt for hybrid autos. Some drivers, however, prefer a typical gas-powered vehicle. Check out the top five non-hybrid gas-powered automobiles to help you save money on petrol. Which non-hybrid gas-powered vehicles get the best gas mileage? Do you desire a typical gas-powered automobile with good fuel efficiency to save money at the pump? According to MarketWatch, the following are the five non-hybrid gas-powered automobiles with the best gas mileage: Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, Kia Rio, Hyundai Accent, Mitsubishi Mirage The 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage is the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gas-powered automobile. The 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage subcompact hatchback is expected to get up to 36 city/43 highway/39 combined mpg. As a result, the Mirage is the finest non-hybrid gas-powered car for saving money on gas. In addition to saving money at the fuel, the Mirage is a very inexpensive automobile. With a base MSRP of $14,645 it is one of the most affordable new automobiles on the market. While the Mirage has a good fuel economy, it falls short in performance. Its little 3-cylinder engine produces only 78 horsepower, so don't expect to win any drag races with it. However, when you consider the Mirage's many standard amenities, outstanding gas mileage, and affordable price, it provides excellent value. With the economical 2022 Hyundai Elantra, you can save money on petrol. The 2022 Hyundai Elantra small sedan is ranked second as the finest non-hybrid gas-powered car for gas savings. It is projected to get up to 33 city/43 highway/37 combined mpg. The Elantra, like the Mirage, is also an economical vehicle, with a starting MSRP of $20,200. However, unlike the Mirage, the Elantra performs admirably. The regular Elantra is available with three engine options: a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (201 horsepower), a 2.0-liter four-cylinder (147 horsepower), and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (201 horsepower) (276 horsepower). The Elantra also comes in a hybrid variant, the Elantra Hybrid, with a total system output of 139 horsepower. The Elantra Hybrid has the third-best gas mileage of any hybrid vehicle (53 city/56 highway/54 combined mpg). The hybrid cars with the best fuel economy are the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq (58 city/60 highway/59 combined mpg) and the 2022 Toyota Prius (58 city/53 highway/56 combination mpg). However, if you want to buy a non-hybrid gas-powered car that will save you the most money at the pump, the 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage is your best option. The next most efficient non-hybrid gas-powered vehicles after the Mirage are the 2022 Hyundai Elantra, 2022 Honda Civic, 2022 Kia Rio, and 2022 Hyundai Accent. Hyundai Accent 2022 Price isn't the most expensive one in this list.
  2. Howdy! I have a 2.7 v6 Hyundai Coupé (also know as a Hyundai Tiburon) and am looking for a exhaust that is louder than stock (it's fairly quiet) with a deep rumble, but still not obnoxious or super loud. Any suggestions?

  4. My 2008 hyundai is great when used at low rpms and doesn’t burn any oil. When I drive at high rpms or when driving on the highway car burns oil and white smoke comes from tailpipe but only after I stop, it doesn’t burn any while she’s moving. What do I need to repair?
  5. So 3 days ago my engine started making a strange ticking/clunking noise which got progressively worse over the days leading to this video. It drives fine and only makes this noise at low gear. Any idea what it could be? It was low on oil and had probably been running low for about 3 weeks of light driving. Hyundai Tucson 1.6 2016 with an LPG conversion. 1 year warranty left, thankfully. Thank You VID_20201019_194749.mp4
  6. The Toyota Vios or the Hyundai Accent are the two most popular models in the B-Segment Sedan market right now and in the past as well. Wonder which comes out on top? Let’s start with Toyota Vios vs Hyundai Accent on Philkotse.com! With regards exterior, the Vios is a much wider. About styling, I would prefer the Toyota Vios because of its new design whereas the Accent in sedan form does look good. The higher trim variants of the Vios also come with fancier stuff like larger allow wheels, a pair of fog-lights, and a rear spoiler. In terms of interior, both the Vios and the Accent have USB and AUX ports, Bluetooth connectivity, hands-free calling, AM/FM radio and a decent sound system. All variants of the new 2019 Hyundai Accent only comes with a 3.8” LCD Display Radio with a USB and AUX port. On concerning engine and performance, I consider the Vios falls short. Particularly, the current Hyundai Accent comes in two engine options: a 1.4 liter Gasoline and a 1.6 liter Diesel. On the other hand, Toyota Vios appears in a 1.3 liter and a 1.5 liter. In conclusion, pick a CRDi Accent should you be more adventurous. Otherwise, opt for the Vios if you prefer on-board entertainment. For exhaustive comparison, move on to Hyundai Accent vs Toyota Vios comparison!
  7. Hello, I have a 2005 Hyundai Tucson gls v6 And it was driving fine and then I tried to turn it on and it wouldn’t start then I finally got it to start and drove it about and hour with no problems to my home. Then I tried to start it again and it would crank but not start. I changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, coil pack, crank shaft sensor, and cam shaft sensor. Test all the spark plugs and it’s not getting spark. There’s fuel in the car and it’s getting fuel because the spark plugs smelled like gas and were wet. The battery is only a year old we even jumped started it and it still cranks but won’t start. Checked & cleaned all the fuses and there was a broken wire so we re-wired it and still no start. What else could it be? thanks in advance
  8. I have a 2008 Hyundai Accent. About 4 months ago, it started to present a bunch of issues over the course of a week. I'll list them, to keep it short. Usually doesn't start in park Usually starts in neutral (if not, letting the car move a little in neutral usually fixed it) Usually doesn't go in reverse (some days it would work fine, other days, it wouldn't go in reverse at all) No PRNDL lights on dash (the area is blank where it usually is) Not shifting gears properly, downshifting suddenly when driving, starting in 2nd gear "Lurching" when put into drive or reverse (when working) Check engine light reading the "neutral safety switch" Some unrelated issues that I don't think are relevant, but I'll list them anyways. This car is a piece of garbage, afterall. TPSM light on Airbag light on The following repairs were attempted (in this order) to solve the problem. It was mostly fixed the problem, temporarily (for about 3 months, and now it's worse than ever) Neutral safety switch replaced Transmission output sensor replaced Transmission input sensor replaced Transmission oil pan replaced (it was cracked) Transmission oil drained + replaced As of today, I took the car to a transmission specialist. I believed it was a wiring issue, considering I'd replaced nearly every "part" that it could have been, besides the transmission. He too told me he believed it was a wiring issue. After looking at it for a whole 4 days, he calls me and just tells me "the transmission has an internal error", and that it needs to be replaced. The PRNDL switch is a symptom of transmission failure. I pressed about it a little bit, asking why he thought it was a transmission failure, and he gave me a loop around and didn't say anything else. I am not a car guy, so please tell me if I'm wrong, but this doesn't make any sense to me. Why would a PRNDL switch error reading on my check engine light be a symptom of a failed transmission? And why did I go 4 months with it driving nearly fine? Any, ANY help would be appreciated. I'm not really sure where to turn.
  9. I finally visited a dealer ship that has cars best competitive to Honda by mileage. Who prefers Hyundai more than Honda ?
  10. if i sit idle in my car for 15+ minutes it makes a ticking noise, which will last about 30 seconds then stop, if i remain idle it will start making the noise and stop again. no acceleration issues, no issues with heat/AC in vehicle, only makes the sound if i have been sitting idle for an extended period of time. i use full synthetic oil and got an oil change 4k mi ago. it has been making this sound for over a year, again only when i sit idle for an extended period of time. no apparent issues besides the sound. have 60k warranty , car has about 54k on it. 11. Today is very very special day because we are starting Owner’s Reviews for Asian Petrolhead. So, Jimmy, our 1st owner, brought us 2016 Hyundai Genesis with 3.3L V6 mated to 8-speed automatic. This 2016 Hyundai Genesis was Hyundai’s flagship sedan back then. So, without further due, let’s meet Jimmy. https://youtu.be/80dIzgtmFVo 2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.3L V6 282hp | 256lb.ft 8-speed / RWD
  12. Hello there, it's my first post. I would like to ask for your kind advice. The other night, when I started my Hyundai Accent Sedan 2016 (Gas), I noticed that my Check Engine light went on and blinked for nearly around a minute before going away. I observed it for a few moments and then proceeded with driving out. I checked with the nearby auto shop what might be wrong and how much it would cost to diagnose it. They ruled out spark plugs and sparkplug wires right away, saying the engine started with too much power for it to be a sparkplug issue. They recommended doing a scanner test. This would cost 1,250 PhP (or $20+ in USD). My question, would the scanner still work and be able to diagnose my car's problem even though the Check Engine light has NOT gone ON ever since that night? It may not seem much to some here, but $20+ USD from where I am from is substantial, especially for a DIAGNOSTIC. I just want to make sure that the money will NOT be wasted and will actually yield some positive result. I'm in the middle of switching jobs, so I really cannot afford to waste any money right now. :( Additional info (if it helps): - I've traveled nearly 100 KM since the night the light came on, and the light has NOT came back on since then. - Since that night though, I noticed that the Estimated Kilometer Range (the one that predicts how many KMs before you're out of fuel, but not the fuel gauge) hasn't been working properly. I would travel 3-5 KMs and it would not move, then will deduct the KMs in bulk later, and sometimes would even return a KM or 2. The E-F fuel gauge seems to be working fine though, along with everything else. Everything is digital except for tacho and speedo which are working fine as well. - I've had a faulty car alarm for more than a year now. I had it checked last year and they diagnosed it to fried or short-circuited I believe. I didn't have it removed though in a hope it could be repaired, but I've abandoned hope on that now. It doesn't even make a sound anymore if I open the car without unlocking, only the lights go on. I suspect this may be involved in the interference. Could it? I'm sorry for the long post. I really hope someone can help.

  20. Hi! My girlfriend have a hyundai tucson 2007 that now have an occasional brake problem.. Sometimes the warning lights for brake and battery lights up. When this happens the power brakes disappear and are gone as long as the warning lights are on. She are able to extinguish the warning lights by turning the car off then on again. The brakes works good otherwise, no strange sounds, good pads, no vibrations and such.. it’s just when the warning lights turns on that the power brakes disappear. I have checked all brakes but can’t see any obvious problem there. I figured that if the belt are slipping it would be a bit more frequent problem. An other thing we noticed is that when the warning lights are lit, the power disappears to window heating buttons for front and rear windshield. Don’t know how that could be connected but when when the warning lights disappear and brakes start working, so do window heating. Used an OBDII but it did not reveal any fault codes. Anyone who recognize the problem or have a possible solution?
