    I have a 2000 Silverado that the front drivers side wheel hub assembly is going bad on. I also have a 99 Suburban with perfectly good hub assembly on it. Both vehicles use the exact same hub assembly. So my question is this: is the hub assembly a part that I can safely take off one vehicle and put on another compatible vehicle? Is it possible and safe? Correction: The Suburban Hub assembly is NOT compatible with the Silverado. That said, I would still like to hear an answer to this question for educational purposes.
