  1. Hello all, I'm conducting a marketing research on car retailing and consumers for the University of Sussex. This project examines people's point of view and opinions on buying cars using different retail channels. I'm trying to collect data using a questionnaire for numerical analysis, and the results of this research can maybe provide an insight to players in the car retail industry alike. Since anyone who's bought a car or thinks of buying one can answer, car users and sellers alike can answer, regardless of whatever car you use/sell. Are you able to help me? It's a short survey that should take no more than a couple minutes to complete. Here's the link: https://qfreeaccountssjc1.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d5qXbmIgYMwnySy If you have any questions or would like to know more you can ask away. Please answer it honestly and sincerely. Many thanks and have a nice day

  3. Good morning. We are a group of students, developing an app for selling/buying cars online, and would love your feedback and ideas. We would like to ask some questions, to see your thoughts and comments. We have spoken to potential users, we have received some good ideas and feedback so far. Given the following sites for selling and buying cars online https://www.ebay.com/b/Auto-Parts-and-Vehicles/6000/bn_1865334 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/ https://www.coches.net/segunda-mano/ 1). What is something that current online buying/selling sites don't have, but think is a must when it comes to selling and buying cars online? 2). What is a fundamental thing an online car site must have, but maybe the current sites lack or don't provide? We would love to share all the progress being made, of the development phase with this great community Thank you for your thoughts and comments.
  4. I’m currently driving a 2006 e60 525i at the age of 17. It has a few issues like oil leaks and some damaged body work. I can’t do much to the car without spending a lot of money. I’m thinking about selling it and maybe buying a Miata NA or NB because I want to start learning how to work on cars. Is it worth it?
  5. I am in the market for a new car. I recently had a 2003 V6 Mustang, but it was leaking and other issues so I’m looking to upgrade. I found a 2001 V6 Firebird and a 2000 GT Mustang. Which car is more worth buying? I am also considering a SE Charger if that is any better. Any help is appreciated. 6. I'm looking to purchase a sedan in the coming weeks. I've narrowed it down to the vehicles below. I need some help making a final decision so please offer up your input. Thank you. Here's the parameters: Must be under $20,000 Must be a 4 door sedan Automatic preferred but manual okay Must be under 40,000 miles Black interior(cloth or leather) preferred Here's what I am considering: '16-'17 Accord Sport or EX I like the styling and they are super, super reliable and easy to repair. I don't like the lack of power and FWD. '15-'16 Mercedes Benz C Class Love the styling and interior. Decent power. Concerned about reliability and repair bills. '14-'16 BMW 3-Series Love the styling and interior. Decent power. Can get the AWD model for similar price to RWD. Concerned about reliability and repair bills. '14-'16 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Quattro Love the styling and interior. Decent power. Concerned about reliability, repair bills and electronics issues. '15-'16 Infinity Q50 Premium I like the styling. Plenty of power with the V6 motor. The interior kind of sucks. Reliable/proven Nissan motor. '16-'17 Cadillac ATS 2.0T AWD I like the exterior styling. Reliability is a slight concern but repairs shouldn't be as expensive as its European counterparts. A little underpowered, to get the V-spec you have to add about $20k and they are rare. Interior is so-so. Don't know if I should get the 4-cyl turbo or the 3.6L V6? I'd love to hear what you guys think? Or what you would personally choose if you were in my shoes. I'm also open to other suggestions as well. Thank you for your time and help.
  7. Planning to buy a used car, but my friends told me not to, because I might end up with a flooded one. So I told them I'm bringing a mechanic with me, but they hesitated that some flooded cars are impossible to identify even with a certified/professional/licensed car mechanic... Is that true? but also, one friend told me that flooded cars are easily spotted on by experts. I don't know which should I believe? Please help me. Thanks!
