Hello, I recently bought an used Citroen C4 in an excellent condition, but I have a problem with it's current head unit. It is a Sony aftermarket head unit. It can't receive or detect any radio stations. I managed to pull it out and all cables are well connected as well as the antenna. It works when playing music using an AUX cord, music on USB and CD. When the volume is on the maximum it is only static noise except on certain frequencies on which I can hear quiet music or some kind of rhythm. I am wondering what is the problem, the head unit itself, or the antenna. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok so, I have a 2009 holden cruze. The headunit (radio) started turning off a few months back by itself till it came to a point where it doesn't work at all. I've looked online for a answer to what it might be. Came back with check the fuses which I have and it seems perfectly fine and then I got another answer where a lot of people are changing the negative battery cable as its a fault from the manufacturer. The problem is, I cant seem to find where I could buy the negative battery cable anywhere for the 2009 model. only the 2011-2015 is available. Ive searched everywhere on the net. as a side note to this issue, If I disconnect the radio from the back and plug it back in, it works for a short period before going back to not working. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could find this part and or have had a similar issue to of what I have.

I was installing an aftermarket radio in my Corolla, and like an idiot I left the battery hooked up. The wrong two wires touched, and I heard a sizzle. I finished installing the radio, but there is no power to it. Also not sure if it's related, but the open door light also isn't coming on. Everything else seems to be working fine. Radio fuse looks ok. What could be wrong?

Okay so here goes. I recently acquired a second hand car radio. It has all the bits and bobs I was looking for, and I got it free from a friend who just brought himself a new radio. It's a Peugeot radio. It has bluetooth, all those nifty features and being a single din radio I assumed it would be easy to just slide my current one out and put this beauty in. However, my car is a Renault. I took my factory radio out and the cables on the back are completely different. Is there any way I can get a Peugeot radio to work in a Renault car? Thank you

I just got a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T SE, and so far I've had no problems with the car itself. When I have the radio playing, there isn't any problems with it, but when I have my phone plugged into the aux cord, the bass sounds really bad. I've tried everything to get this to go away. It sounds really scratchy and if I have the volume turned up loud, it sounds worse. I've tried turning the bass down on my car and it doesnt change anything. This is only when I have my phone plugged into the aux cord. Can someone tell me what's wrong with it?

I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo. The interior lights and radio will not power on. It used to work and we started having electrical problems with the car. Sometimes the air conditioner won't come on but sometimes when it stops working and you hit a bump it will turn on. I have checked the fuses and I am pretty sure that they are not blown. The metal thing inside of the fuse for the radio is still connected. Any ideas on how to fix it? We did have to put a new battery in it a few months ago but I'm pretty sure we had problems before that. If the problem is a short wire how would I fix that? Thanks!

Hi all, I'm doing a bit of research on whether or not music effects the way people drive for college and have put a short survey together with questions related to it. Will post the link below if anyone is interested. All feedback is gratefully recieved! Link removed Thanks!! George

My cars clock turns on and off when the car is off
Spiderpig posted a topic in Repairs & Maintenance
I have a 2007 honda accord and for some reason after turning the car off and taking the keys out of the ignition the clock will occasionally turn on and off. If i leave the radio on when i turn off the car then the radio will also turn on with the clock and then off. It is very odd and i am definitely a novice when it comes to cars so i can't find a solution. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
