  1. Hey everyone, I was doing some checks on my 1992 4runner today, due to a clunking sound whilst turning over bumps, but other than the bushings which are completely fried, all other parts (Shocks, control arms, leaf springs/shac kles, sway bar etc) seem to be perfectly fine. However, I noticed some differences in the lower ball joints as seen in the attached photos. The right ball joint boot seems to be super-compressed compared to that of the right, and the components resting above seem to be at an angle? I am no mechanic in any sense and was wondering if there appears to be any problems with the left (or right) ball joints which could explain the clunking and need fixing. Thanks. left balljoint.HEIC Right balljoint.HEIC
