Heischenberg

Hello everyone, I have a fiat grande punto and I'm facing a steering wheel problem. When I turn the wheel to the left or right the steering wheel light will come on and the wheel becomes very stiff to steer or turn. I have to stop and start the car to get rid of the problem temporarily till I keep turning right or left again it becomes stiff right away (maximum 10sec of turning and the problem comes back) What's causing that? and how can I solve it? Thank you!
