Hey, everyone! I'm about to start college, and I'm looking for a reliable car. My commute to and from school will only be about a 20 minute drive each way. But I also have family that lives 3 hours away, so I'm hoping to find something reliable enough to make that drive about once every other month. The price range I'll be looking at will be $2,500 and below. It's not much, but it's all I will be able to afford honestly. And I'm trying to avoid having to finance a car. Does anyone have any suggestions of either cars or small pickups that are reliable that can be found in that price range? Please let me know of any ideas you may have. Thank you in advance!

Hello, all! My name is Monty, and I am new here. I live in Tennessee, and have loved anything with wheels ever since I was a toddler. Can't wait to get to know some of you and hopefully make some lifelong friends! Haven't been a part of an automotive forum in several years, so I may take a little bit of time to get used to posting regularly, but I would love to keep track of how everyone's doing and what all is going on within the community!
