philkotse
If the so-called most dominant SUV in the country is Toyota Fortuner, the Nissan Terra seems a powerful and truck-based item offering certain features that the Fortuner doesn’t. Which is the better SUV? To answer that question, let’s get this Nissan Terra vs Fortuner comparison with Philkotse! As to size, the Nissan Terra is the wider and longer one, sharing the same height with the Fortuner and acquiring a higher ground clearance for better off-roading. In terms of styling, though both SUVs sport bold presence, the Fortuner looks much sleeker and modern in contrast with the Terra with more brusque aesthetics. When regarding seating, both SUVs can comfortably accommodate seven people on leather-clad seats. Particularly, the second-row seats on the Nissan Terra can be folded down with a simple push of a button for easily accessing the third row. Meanwhile, the top-spec Fortuner has ability to load large items. In terms of safety features, both the Toyota Fortuner and the Nissan Terra appear evenly matched, with a similar complement of airbags and ISOFIX anchors. Specifically, the Fortuner anti-lock brakes, traction control and trailer sway control. Meanwhile, the Nissan Terra 2020 appears with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite that includes hill start assist, hill descent control, and a lane departure warning system for greater off-road ability Above are some brief information of the two models, let’s gain more specific details about price and specifications right via the comparison the Nissan Terra vs Toyota Fortuner ! deandean
Under the bonnet, the new Fortuner benefits from Toyota’s reworked 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. Outputs have improved to 150kW at 3400rpm and 500Nm at 1600-2800rpm. Along with improved performance, Toyota claims the Fortuner uses 11.6 per cent less fuel, on the combined cycle. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.6L/100km. This new driveline also improves the Fortuner’s towing credentials, with a braked towing capacity going up by 300kg to 3100kg. The 2021 Fortuner’s Gross Combination Mass has only improved by five kilograms, now up to 5550kg. Steering has also been overhauled in the new Toyota Fortuner. While many other SUVs and four-wheel-drives are moving to electrically-assisted power steering, the Fortuner is sticking with hydraulic power steering technology. 2021 Toyota Fortuner pricing GX - $49,080 GXL - $54,350 Crusade - $61,410 GX option pack - $1,000 GXL option pack - $2,500 Premium paint - $

Bruce22
Personally, I prefer Toyota Fortuner. It has good off-road performance and good exterior design, and it has a high cost performance. In addition, I think the large internal space can meet my needs, such as traveling. Besides, it's resistant to handling. It can drive under any road conditions. It's spacious. It's OK to go off-road slightly. Of course, fortuner is heavy, and it costs a lot of gas.
