TheCarKid1776
Hi there! My name is Alex and I am 17 years young, and I just signed up for this forum. I am looking for a new car to replace my 2000 Honda Civic EX. The only real problem here is that my insurance will go sky high if I get any vehicle classified as a truck, sports car, or a jeep. My price range is right at 7k, and I need something that looks good. I don't want a stupidly fast car, the only kind of speed I really go for is when the red light turns green and I book it. So something quick, friendly to work on, and fun to drive. Anybody got any ideas?
MatthewPR
I've got a Cobalt Coupe, I like it alot, maybe that would interest you. Perhaps also a Toyota Celica or a Toyota MR2 would interest you also. All of these cars would be fairly fun to drive if they're a 5 speed manual, I think they look decent, and they're not too hard or expensive to work on.

I can't get an MR2, it counts as a sports car and my insurance won't let me get any kind of sports car, truck, or jeep. Same for the Celica
MatthewPR
Hmm Cobalt Coupe maybe? As long as it's not an SS you'll be fine.
Waldi_Motors
Did you find a car yet? I have a car or two that are around your budget. Also I buy cars - so you can show me your honda, we can make a deal on it and you can use the money towards your new vehicle. How does that sound? :D
Anuj
There are a lot of good quality classified websites to buy used cars. Based on my experience, I would suggest buying a used car on Motoruncle website in India for many good reasons like you get a variety of brands with options like color/price range/City wise/Fuel type etc. Just go through the motoruncle and you can find them all with the On-road price. tahiniaakter55666
Hi , Paulin Miller this type of check/certificate is well worth the peace of mind when buying privately. You can also check dealer & second hand values via www.redbook.com.au or most of the b\car buying websites.

OLX Cash My Car
You can go for cooper as well that will fit in your budget and your insurance will also be not that high. It will give you an optimum performance and it is not a complete sports car as well. Hope will like the suggestion, please feel free to discuss further. Corvette Mike
If I were you I would go for some american muscle and get a camaro or a corvette. Pro tip: check out http://www.motorcloud.com for the deepest search engine. Autotrader and CL are ok, but this search engine has a ton more vehicle. Lot's of used vettes:https://motorcloud.com/cars/used/Chevrolet/Corvette.
