Garrettw3 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2018 Hello I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban. I recently put an amp and sub in it and everything was working fine the sub was barely kicking so i decided to play with some of the stuff on my amp. well it kinda popped i guess thats the best way i can describe it? and in my old vehicle this would happen too once i turned my volume up loud enough. in my old truck i would turn it off and the amp would come back on and all would be good. but i turned my suburban off and the head unit kinda stayed on for a second and they turned off and now the head unit and amp wont come on. any help would be appreciated! BCHAP 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2019 Probably blew a fuse on the head unit and the amp. Let me ask, on your power wire running to your batter do you have an in-line fuse in place? If not you desperately need one. Also, do not turn your gain all the way up that is the one cardinal sin of subwoofers gain is not a volume control. John Perchun 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2019 😨This is my baby😂😂😂... so I change the original AMP and head unit... In this case, I spent a lot of money😨 but I am happy and besides how it's possible to install something cheap in car like this😍.. So the AMP IS Pioneer GMA3602 and the head unit is SMARTY Trend one so no problem everything what I wanted I got)😎
