You can generate this energy from sunlight falling on your roof much less than gasoline costs. You can now install solar power to power an Electric vehicle 12k miles per year for under $10,000. Buying gasoline at today's price, power a car 12,000 miles per year for the next 40-50 years would cost $60,000-$75,000 and that's if the price of gasoline does not rise over the next years. Canadian Solar does have two factories in Ontario, Canada, however the majority of their output comes from their Chinese plants. Read here The Canadian Solar R&D team achieved a world record efficiency of 23.81% in March 2020 using an n-type multi-crystalline silicon solar cell they developed. The most efficient home solar panel on the market right now has an efficiency of 22.6%. According to Bloomberg NEF, Canadian Solar is expanding its presence in Australia and now rank sixth in the world in terms of solar panel production capacity. A total of 50 Australians are employed in various capacities, including sales and servicing of solar panels and large-scale solar farm construction, throughout their four warehouses in Australia.
