car newb 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2017 Hi everyone, I'm trying to install aftermarket speakers on my 2007 Kia Sorento. I've been unable to find a speaker harness for the speakers on the front door. I talked with someone at Crutchfield and they said that, while their research doesn't show it, Metra says that the 72-7301 model should work. Does anyone have any experience with this and know of a harness that would work for me? Let me know if I can provide any other information and thanks in advance! hojoos 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) Guys, I bought myself a radio JVC 637 and decided to change the speakers, at least the front ones. I am not happy with the sound. There are no upper sounds, bottom ones mumble. And I have a question - will the replacement of the front speakers help me (the rear ones can be turned off altogether)? If yes, then tell me which is better to buy? My budget is up to $ 200 (it can be $ 250). The year of car release is 2008. Maybe it makes sense to choose from any lists of top speakers, click here, or is it all bullshit, what can you say? Hey, everybody, I'm also listening to car audio. I have a powerful loudspeaker amplifier and I need to pick up good speakers. I've already looked at all the forums, and I can't make a final choice. I liked the Focal 165 AC or the Polk DB 522 and 652. Maybe who already has experience using them? I'd really appreciate your advice.

Hello, First of all, you should decide what size speakers you will get? I see that you are looking for two 6.5" speakers and another 5.25" speakers at the same time. Are you willing to make any car door modification? If you are a newbie at DIY for car audio setup, I strongly suggest staying away from doing body changes to your car. If you are wondering about what size of your speakers, welcome to read this guide that will get you in the right direction. If you still have some questions about where to start, look further information on the internet or consult a local car audio shop IMO.
Nathan Bush 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2020 I am observing a lot of confusions about speakers in the above comments. Just wanted to add my few words, so when you are going to buy any car speaker you must be familiar with the size. This is the important step because you have to look for the available space where you are going to install it. Don't get yourself in a trouble while installing the car speakers but you can follow any YouTube video or can check articles from online resources which will help you to install your car speakers own your own and this method is recommended because you can save a lot of money and can learn a new skill very easily. If you feel these things annoying or not playful then I will recommend you to visit a local mechanic within your area to avoid further issues.
