webshow202
Hey everyone i hope you are all having a great day today! Well yesterday my car wouldnt start but i kept turning the key back and forth twice because i was desperate and the car fired up! this morning i did the same thing and it worked too. But tonight when i tried it again the car wouldnt start at all. There is no noise and the BATTERY light and the CHECK OIL light light up. I don't think it's the batter because all the light turn on like normal. there are also no noise after i turn the key. just one click like the starter is trying to turn but it won't. is there any suggestions? I really need it soon.....
Elite_Deforce
It's the battery or the starter. Just because it has power to light up stuff doesn't mean it has power to start the engine. Do the lights dim heavily when you engage the starter? Elite_Deforce
Yes I would bet money it is the battery. Replace it.

Adriano Clark
I have a 2003 Ford Escape. It won't start, but we think we triggered the anti-theft feature when we slammed the door, and don't know how to undo it. When we turn the key, the car doesn't start, and the lights occasionally blink on and off inside & outside of the car. We checked the battery and don't think it's bad, but the car won't turn over. We are getting it towed, but wonder we need to do something like turn the wheel while turning the key to see if it will start. We'd like to avoid a towing fee if we could just get the car home. We bough as new starter just in case.
