2007DBR9 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2011 Very interesting, I didn't think they sold that many especially when Rolls Royce and Bentley offer much better alternatives. How could we get a more outrageous S class than the S65 AMG? That is one hell of a machine as it is. Chris V. 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) The problem with the Maybach was that it didn't stand out from a regular Mercedes, and actually LOOKED older than the top Mercedes S classes. The Exelero was the only Maybach that stood out. The sedans should have borrowed from the Exelero's styling to look the part. Probably would have sold better.
