taniyatmadden
I have achieved a good financial position, and I have room for maneuver to try something else. I am thinking about opening a medical delivery service that does not require emergency care. It's a long way to take elderly people to and from a doctor's appointment. In my neighborhood, many people have to travel to Knoxville to see a doctor. Which is about an hour and a half drive from here. I assume that I will need a business license and additional car insurance. For me, this is a completely different planet. I wanted to know if any of you have done this kind of work before or know someone who has done it. I guess I'll need some kind of software to bill for insurance, Medicaid, etc. To make my name known through advertising and the like. A big step for me, and I would appreciate any information I can get.
Ryanthurb
It sounds like you want to start a business you know absolutely nothing about.
Churajnin
I know the thread is old but I still wanna add some tips in case you're still interested in starting your non-emergency medical transportation service. It's important to check with your local authorities about the specific requirements and regulations for operating such a business. Obtaining a business license and additional auto insurance are essential steps to ensure compliance and protect yourself and your clients. You might also want to explore resources from capital gurus to learn more about starting a small business and managing your finances. Remember to create a marketing plan to promote your services and build a strong presence in your community.
