bfeeney
I thought the UK was all about smaller cars like the Fiat 500 and the Focus?
dr. joint
They are, actually. But the British (or Europeans, for that matter) are probably the biggest car enthusiast of all. I just saw a Camaro stuck in traffic today (amidst non stop rains) and it's pretty HUGE. But damn it looked good. And I like it. Never mind the V6, though. It has to be a V8. Shpuker
Lol you think the Camaro is big? You guys have the 7-series Bimmers there? And I'd just like to point out its Camaro lol Edited August 6, 2010 by Shpuker
dr. joint
Well I mean yeah we get the 7 here but the Camaro is a coupe. We were side by side near the flyover and I was surprised on how I looked diminutive inside my Japanese sports coupe.lol But for the money, the Camaro is okay. I think it costs almost the same as an EVO X here (we get raped by the high price of the X.) But you get a V8. And that size. And the retro modern look. Im glad that the new Camaro, no matter how cartoonish it is, managed to have a lot of sex appeal at the same time. Like the Mustang.

I am definatly a GM guy, but with the trend to go 'retro' I think the Mustang and Challenger did alot better than the Camaro in recreating the '60-'70 theme. Wally
Well of course it's really a Monaro, so you can see where the brainfart came into play.

Wally
It's a short chassis commodore, but the designers had to engineer in the cheap to give it an american flavour.
Jammo
It's a short chassis commodore, but the designers had to engineer in the cheap to give it an american flavour. Shame really. Should have been left to Holden to fully engineer etc. Would have been a better looking car too me thinks!
