2004 Nissan Sentra Wont Stay Running

My 2004 Sentra had problems starting, so I found online that a big problem was the crank sensor. I changed the sensor and it will start, but all of the sudden with no sputter or anything it just dies. Does anyone have any ideas on where to go next because I am just not sure

When you replaced the crank sensor, did you make sure that the plug was installed correctly? Sometimes they can go on both ways. Also, did the sensor have a metal or plastic body? Nissan did a TSB on the ones with a black plastic body - the replacements are metal.

Might be something simple like disconnecting the battery for a minute, fuel filter, etc. From my experience there are always two problems that need to be fixed, one obvious, the other a real pain in the arse to discover.

i would try unplugging the MAF sensor... if it stays running, problem solved

if it was the crank sensor the car may start sometimes and not others (computer dosent know when to fire the spark plug). the times it does start your just getting lucky
