If that wasn't good enough, I went out Friday night, and some guy pulls up with a slightly older model Voyager, with rims and tires. Pops the hood to show everyone a tricked out 3.0L that had an accel ignition, K&N filter charger, and a few other things, but painted and really done up nice. Oh yeah, a 5" tach. in the dash.

Speaking of Mopar. I caught part of the SEMA show on TV...Mopar managed to have a PT Cruiser on display. The thing that set it apart from the rest was the fact that managed to stuff a NASCAR spec carbureted 426 Hemi into the engine bay, and convert it over to rear wheel drive. I dunno how they made it fit, but it looked like it was made to house it (just barely). Gnarly!

PT GT?

PT-R?

Hemi-Cruiser? I think this one wins.

thats actually kinda cool. i never really liked the pt cruiser. i must say that is cool that they got a nascar spec engine in there. SI's really arent too bad. good tuners. the thought has crossed my mind to get one of those, but they are like 18 and thats the SVT for me.

Shoulda seen that PT Croozer (I think it was dubbed) built by Hennesey, yes the guy that builds 800 horsepower Vipers daily.

What was he doing with a PT Cruiser? Oh just the norm, putting a Viper aluminum V-10 in a mid-engine configuration of the PT body.

I can't be long off til we starting getting really souped up V8 and V10 PTs. Its been a little over a year since they came out, so people must be finishing up their projects. Can't wait til the shows this summer.
