  1. Have you tried the Sonic with 1.4l Turbo? Or what about the Hyundai Veloster? (I know, not really a hatchback, but close). Mazda MX5 Miata? Hyundai Genesis Coupe Nissan 370Z
  2. I personally like the Toyota 86, or Subaru BRZ. I also like the Chevrolet Camaro or Ford Mustang very much! It's a small step up from the Fusion (with 1.6-1.8l turbo engine). Not sure what you're looking for in terms of money, or performance...
  3. Hi! I love my cruze, but I want to find a replacement, and upgrade it be maybe somewhere next year. And so, I'm requesting some info on a step up car; and what car should I get? Not too big of a difference, but a noticeable difference anyway. I find the cruze is great car for downtown, and generally up until 60MPH has excellent gas mileage! After 60MPH the Turbo kicks in, in final gear, and it pushes the car to 80MPH, at which the wastegate starts opening, and I notice a slight loss in power; and a large loss in MPG. In the city, the turbo offers smooth and gradual acceleration. Yet I want a car that's a bit more sporty than this car. Not by too much though, as I still want to get great gas mileage, in the thirties of MPG. I also want to take it out on the highways more often. Like 75-85MPH. Aside from a minute better MPG at highway speeds, I want it to ride a bit more peppy in the city. I would like my car to be between 2500 and 3500LBS. My engine to be between 200 and 300HP I prefer eco turbos, but could do NA. I also would want it to be a manual geared car and MPG of around 30. I prefer 3, 4, or 5 cylinder, not 6 or 8. All the while, not breaking my bank. $20k for a car is a lot for me :/ I had 2 cars in mind, but am definitely open for suggestions! - the toyota 86, or Subaru BRZ (same car, different company) - Or the Chevrolet Camaro 2.0l Turbo. (not so fond of the mustang). Any other suggestions or comments?
