A source at FoMoCo tells us they plan to rock down to electric-gas avenue in the near-term future. Although we knew there’d be a 2009 model of a certain razor-bladed sedan with some kind of charge to it, we didn’t know any more details other than that. Until today. Our source, who for the moment we’ll call “Electric Throat”, tells us that Ford plans to introduce a Ford Fusion hybrid at either the LA or Detroit Auto Show but they’re “pushing hard for LA.” Makes sense to us — all the better to get the attention of the left coast folks. We don’t have much more than that — but whatevs, it’s a slow news day.
