> Falcon I6 Survives
Posted by Wally - 11-20-08 16:59 - 5 comments
In Oz the Falcons and SUVs are fitted with an inline six that was to be shelved in favour of a piss weak V6 from North America. With the current state of play and a $6.2B injection from the Federal Govt into the local car industry, Ford have reversed that decision.

There is a rumour the engine may even find it's way into Europe.

In it's stock turbo trim the engine produces 270kW @ 5200 and a whopping 533Nm between 2000rpm - 4750rpm, which translates into weapon.

> Is it safe to drive without a Catalytic converter?
Posted by mystikvibe - 11-20-08 02:27 - 3 comments
My Catalytic Converter was just recently stolen off of my 1995 toyota 4runner. I was wondering if it would be harmful to the engine or car in any way to drive to and from work for the next week or two until I can get a new one.

I am aware of the pollution and noise problems, but this would only be very short term.

Thanks
