Hello everyone, I jut recently bought a 2004 Mazda 6s. It has the standard radio, and when I opened the glove compartment I noticed there was a headphone plugin. So I tried plugging my iPod and switching around the radio modes like cd and fm and all that stuff. However it didn't play my iPod. Is there a special way to get to auxiliary or something? Or how do I get it to play my iPod? Here is a picture of exactly what I have been talking about. the plug is right in front of the stick just so you know.

If it's a headphone plug, then it only outputs music, and is not an auxiliary input plug. Have you plugged in headphones to it to make sure that is what it is?

Yeah, try some headphones and see what happens. That being said, I don't remember that car having AUX, so the plug you found might not be for audio at all.
