cmbrown05 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2012 I have a 95 Honda Del Sol Vtec. Yesterday I drove and while driving down the street, the car turned off like I stalled out (Its a stick). I have been driving a stick since my first car, so I can drive them. Issue: While trying to start it again after it died, the car would turn but not turn over and start. After I tried starting it and it cranking but not starting, it smells like gasoline outside my car. Is the solution a new fuel pump or fuel line? What do you all think is the issue... AND THE SOLUTION? Thank you all, God bless, -Corey
Chris V. 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2012 It's getting fuel (which is why you are smelling fuel), what it isn't getting is spark. Possibly a crank position sensor or a cam position sensor that is not telling the ignition when to fire off.
