Hi Everyone,

I am toying with the idea of creating a new website for all the car fans out there, some sort of community site where people can upload pictures, videos, finds etc.

Not sure if it would work or not, so wondering if anyone has any other ideas for a car site, can be a new idea or something that exists but could be done a lot better.

Any thoughts let me know.

Cheers
Robert

I have found something awesomme on facebook, a new car website wich is still under construction.
It is a car encyclopedia with 7000 car brands, 70.000 car types, 500.000 photos, videos and text description for each car. The database had been developed in 15 years of continious work as the website owner stated.
There are some samples on the facebook page.

I guess it is the most complete car encyclopedia, because i didn't find one bigger yet.
What do you think?
Making some callculations this has been started before the internet was the leading information provider...

I'd suggest you start a blog and if you can manage to generate interesting articles and build up a following it gives you a much stronger basis for a website.

Your new car website should have attractive features and will be easily navigable by end users. It should cover entire section of car purchase, order placements and various other that can benefit a visitor if he wished to purchase any car or just about to see the makes and models.
