Hi

We need to buy two cars and can't seem to decide on what.

One driver, mainly alone, does up to 18,000 miles mostly non motorway driving (c 130 mile round trip daily)
One driver does around 10,000 mile pa but shorter journey (c25mile round trip) and needs to have a car seat in for small child, sometimes shopping etc.

Ideally one car need to be big enough to be thr family car but could just get a roof box for camping trips etc.

Do we get two diesels? New or used considered but with low sh mileag, we've got up to 5K in deposits and can spare c£200 per month in HP or PCP.
