Hi there,
I have had my car fixed under warranty 4 times and by the dealer. Every time they said it was a gummed up throttle body. But still the problem returns. Now, my question is this. My car will always start but will not always stay running. Sometimes it stalls at a stop, sometimes it just loses power going down the road, and sometimes it will buck for miles and then run fine. Not too often but sometimes it will not stay started but once it backfires it will run fine. The codes that that have been pulled are as follows:
PO175 mass flow sensor- it was clean as a whistle no visible dirt any where. the ohms checked out fine.
PO431 and 421 warm-up catalyst eff, below threshold in bank 1 & 2
PO172 and 175 system too rich bank 1 & 2
PO102 mass or volume air
Is it the oxygen sensor or the catalytic convertor or a vacuum leak? I hope that one of you can decipher this and give a direction to follow.
thank you
mike
