It is the dimension that makes the main difference between 1 din and 2 din car DVD. The “din” refers to the size (or width) of car audio head units. Hence a 1 din model is a standard single din head unit, while a 2 din model is suitable for a double din sized panel. Both of these two kinds of car DVD can be mounted in the dashboard of the front seat, and they have multiple functions for in car entertainment, such as playing CD/DVD as well as files from memory sticks. The AM/FM tuner is integrated with a satellite radio which makes the DVD compatible with GPS functions. With the GPS system, you are able to mark and save address and routes datas.
