Comet is sold as of last Saturday, and the MGB will be sold off in unfinished form. Never seem to get around to working on them with so much else on my plate.

So, last Tuesday night I brought home a convertible replacement. Was looking at the Jags, but the newest one I could afford was just too old. Instead, got an '06 Mustang GT convertible with the 5 speed manual trans (and yes, when looking at Mustangs, I only looked for manual trans ones. Hard to find in a convertible and in the color I wanted). Vista Blue, 45k miles, and so stock it hurts:

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Whoever had it took real good care of it. Not so much as a rock chip. Gonna leave it stock for the time being, but even my wife, who said, please don't start spending money on mods now, started talking about a chip, wheels, and good exhaust after we had been driving around top down for a while last night... And I may have to fight her for the keys... :(

Ultimate plan is to duplicate this car (well, not the blue-gray basic color) as a convertible:

But the nice thing about the Mustang now is that I can drive and enjoy it as is.

More cellphone pics from today. Wish it would stop raining for more than a day to justify a full detail and real pictures...

Nice man! I'm actually taking delivery of a GT at the end of this month myself.

Nice! IN grabber blue, no less! How long have you had it now? Any problems with the transmission?

Took delivery in May. I'm not having major lock-outs and such, but I'm having the notchyness and crunchyness that is all the craze it seems.
