Do you properly maintain your vehicle?
Do you check your oil?
Change it?
The filter?
How often do you change it?
What are your preferred brands?

Now, Maintaining your vehicle is one of the most basic things you can do to keep your vehicle alive. Now, an oil change at virtually any garage can vary in price between 20 and even upwards of 50 bucks. Now, changing your oil and filter every 3000 miles (or three months, whichever comes first), can save your vehicle and significant numbers to engine life. Ok, a new car, a good one at least, will cost quite a sum. Now, a 30 dollar oil change can prevent repairs such as engine replacement, can cost upwards of 4000$. A 30$ change every three months, or 120 dollars a year, it will take nearly 30 years of oil changes to displace that, and no engine will last that with regular use. A responsible vehicle owner will make the extremely safe investment into regular oil changes.

Proper maintenance is necessary for superior results. I service my vehicle on regular basis. It only takes a short time but save my vehicle from peril.

Taking your car in for regular service will help your ride run better and last longer. It will keep your repair bills down too.

I really don't know how to maintain my car so I have it check on a regular basis by a car maintenance expert.

Taking care of your car is like taking care of yourself. It is always best that your car is always in good shape to have maximum performance. Sometimes people forget that a car is a machine and like any other machine they require proper maintenance.

I service and repair my own vehicles. My daily driver is an '88 Ford Escort with 516K miles. 23 years old and over 1/2 a million miles on the original engine and never been rebuilt. The farthest I've been into the engine is taking the valve cover off and the oil pan off to replace the gaskets and clean the oil pump screen. My motto is "oil is cheaper than an engine".

Depends on the age of the car as to whether it's worth it or just cut your loses. Also depends on where the rust is and how bad it is at present!

One of the reassuring qualities of contemporary cars is that they need much less-frequent service to keep them running well.......check car part before running........

Maintaining your vehicle is essential to help ensure that it is roadworthy, safe to drive or ride, fuel efficient, less polluting and not a danger to passengers, pedestrians and other road users. Vehicle maintenance ranges from cleaning your vehicle and conducting weekly checks through to full servicing and repair.

Thanks,
Abraham Tiffin

Since everyone is keeping their cars longer due to the economy its essential for us to keep our cars properly maintained. Repairs and maintenance can become costly. Because I drive a lot and have an older car I joined this company called Repair Smart that makes sure you don't get ripped off when taking your car in for repairs. I bought it online at link removed

I check my oil regularly and I change it every 5000 miles usually. It's really easy to do yourself and it doesn't take very much time, maybe 10-20 minutes.
