I have recently recieved a sponsorship from a company called Carbon Fiber Vinyl...... Now I definitely like the product, it looks real, feels real... but, I am looking for everyones opinion on the difference of the vinyl versus the real carbon fiber...

The vinyl seems like a great way to modify the interior of a car, which is what I plan on doing.... what is your opinion???

You can see an add for Carbon Fiber Vinyl at the following link

my dad and older brother used the vinyl carbon fiber to layer the inside of his 2001 vw beetle. It actually looks really good i think, especially if you are very precise with your cuts and use a heat gun to mold it around curves in the dash board as to keep from getting wrinkles

Huge difference - There is no substitute for a carbon fiber based weave as it can also be intertwined with Kevlar as well as other materials and looks amazing. If you are looking for a simple addition then the vinyl will work because the Carbon Fiber process takes some time as even with a starter kit you will spend a lot more and have a mess to clean up after. The process is similar to Fiberglass and usually requires an oven to cure it plus it will probably be much more expensive.
