does anyone have an opinion on the GTE Stage 1and 2 Performance Chips? ive been looking for a chip that is less costly, but isnt a scam. the GTE stuff looks legitamit,but ive have never heard any reviews or feelings about it

Never heard of them! If i were you, id go for Superchips, they may be a little costly but there approved by some car manufacturers ie VAG etc

Yah I agree. I have not heard of those either. Go for chips that are more reliable and well known.

Get a Superchip, they have the best reputation.

Alloys will take some time though. Maybe another months, Maybe longer. And for all I know, they might not even happen if we decide to upgrade the car.

I'm interested in buying ESL software and after market performance chips. Also unsure of whether they are a scam, but they appear to have been trading in the market for a while. Does anyone have any information on ESL or their after market products? Their stock seems to be quite hi spec and I haven't seen any reviews at this stage to suggest they are a scam. Many thanks..

This topic is very old and is considered dead.

A quick search from google found some threads discussing ESL on some Subaru boards, might want to check those out.
