Speed Sport Life has a column called "Racer Boy" which gives the how-to on amateur grassroots racing with your own (or your mom's car). The articles are funny and the photos are great. Check it out. You might just find the next "thing to do" with your (or mom's) car. Enjoy.

I remember doing stuff like that in my first car! Great fun :D

I just take the Audi to track days and run the occastional road rally.

I watch alot of these down here, Cornwall used to host the F1 (back in the old days lol) at an old aerodrome, next sunday, im going there for a driving day! (its a charity event, for £5 entrance fee, i get to have a go in 40t trucks, buses, firetruck, tanks etc etc) :)

(sorry for bumping, ive been off for the past few days lol)
