Are there any good car tv shows out there?

I really like the look of chop shop on discovery - quite realistic compared to Pimp my ride or something!

Any more?

We have some great ones on digital TV etc. I'm not sure if you would have access to them in the US etc though (not sure how the cable TV etc works over there!). One of my favs is Wheeler Dealers, where the host and car salesman Mike Brewer buys a modern classic, and his Mechanic friend, Edd China fixes it up. They get some amazing results! Oh, of course Top Gear can't truely be beaten though!

I saw him on the UK version of Monster garage and it showed him with thatfast bed thingy, I didn't know he owned a company though, learn something new everyday, lol. He came accross as a know-it-all boffin in Monster Garage though (waned to use PCs too much!), lol. He's a good lad, but is too well spoken for the motor trade, lol....Knows his stuff though! 5th Gear is ok although I tend not to watch it much...or dont make much effort to at least! It's a bit like TG used to be, and I believe they recently tried to revamp it (unsucessfully!) to be like TG is now!

Hmm i'm not too keen on 5th gear, but Top Gear is cool.

So anymore shows? I need something to fill the void before chop shop starts!

Top Gear is probably the best now, Speed is full of crap now with mostly NASCAR programming. The shows are all reruns, but there somewhat interesting, and boring. Don't tune in to a Canadian car show though, Canada has THE WORST automotive programming.

A quick question. What do you guys in the states...or anywhere else in the world outside the UK, get in the way of car shows on Sky or other digital TV channels?
