Hi guys,
I'm looking for a new smartphone. Ideally, this phone would be easy to use in the car, have hardware powerful enough to last a couple of years, and also have GPS to get me places while I'm driving. I've been looking at the Motorola Droid because I *think* it meets all those requirements. Especially cool since it comes with Google Maps and you can speak to the Droid while it's mounted and in GPS mode, then will get you directions. I've also been happy on the Verizon network, so I figured the Droid would be a safe bet. Plus it's now $100 with a deal I found through BuyDroidPhones.com I'm just wondering if anyone else has other recommendations? Maybe a phone on another network that they've been happy with? |

Droid is what I have now. I make my iPhone buddies look stupid.

I remember a time when I could guarantee I wouldn't get anything done on a weekend, because of friends dropping in unnounced with a slab of beer, meat and some salads.
