Big engine with lots of power, rear wheel drive, usually 2+2 configuration, affordable. I agree but Draguar is also right, affordable shouldn't be in the list. -------------------- ![]() I'm putting speed bumps on a handicap ramp |

Here's one for everyone. What is the defintion of a 'muscle car'? American, cheap, loud, MANUAL, fast, big V8, simple, and RWD. -------------------- If at first you don't succeed, redefine success

Thats's true, but they are made by GM and Ford which are American Because manual is just better. Mustangs are pony cars! They were fast for their time! I will give you that one. XJR is a GT car, S Type R was crap and also a sports sedan. Mercs are sports sedans too, but most importantly they are expensive!! The idea is a muscle car is cheap - for example my VXR8 will give an M5 a run for its money for half the price. The Corvettes run rings round things that cost 3 times as much! -------------------- If at first you don't succeed, redefine success

Sport Sedan as in expensive luxary car with lots of technology that will go like hell when you want it to! Like the M5, RS6, RS4, M3, AMG models etc. Still a sport sedan and too expensive to be a muscle car I think. Watch it back, they liked the Monaro best -------------------- If at first you don't succeed, redefine success

good one.... if a muscle car must be cheap dose that mean a zo6 is not a muscle car??? what about an AC cobra? roush mustang? even a baracuda? they change hand for mega money now days dose that mean they were a muscle car and now not??? Hold on a minute. First of all, the Vette is not a muscle car, it is a full fledged sports car. Second of all the AC Cobra is an exception. Third of all the Roush Mustang is an expensive handling version of a muscle car, ergo it's not a muscle car. The baracuda wasn't 2324343 dollars when it was built. The fact that they are valuable now means nothing. Edit: K, well now that i've seen the third page of this discussion, I have deemed it necessary to no longer care and stand by my original statement.
